“Yellow wakes me up in the morning. Yellow gets me on the bike every day. Yellow has taught me the true meaning of sacrifice. Yellow makes me suffer. Yellow is the reason I am here.” — Lance Armstrong
Nana found these gorgeous yellow unscented flowers on a walk of hers. We don’t know the name of them, so if you do, please share. They’re located on a golf cart path in Peachtree City, Georgia.
She’s been adorning them in the house on plates and the like. They really do brighten up a table or a plate.
My 5 year old niece was so inspired that she wrote ‘Flowers Sweeten Things Up’ by them, and then after writing that wrote, “I am done writing!” I love Amira’s word choice for her post-its and her 5-year-old spelling.
Enjoy the yellow flowers!
“They said, ‘Call upon your Lord to show us what is her color.” He said, “He says, ‘It is a yellow cow, bright in color – pleasing to the observers.’ ” (Quran 2:69).
“You should know that the life of this world is only play and amusement, a show and boasting among yourselves, a quest for greater riches and more children. Its similitude is that of vegetation that flourishes after rain: the growth of which delights the tillers, then it withers and you see it turn yellow, soon it becomes dry and crumbles away. In the hereafter, there will be either severe punishment or forgiveness from God and His good pleasure. The life of this world is nothing but an illusion.” (Quran 57:20).
