Noah and Molly Newborn Twin Photoshoot

“…So we grew together
Like to a double cherry, seeming parted,
But yet an union in partition,
Two lovely berries moulded on one stem…”
~William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Remember Katie & Jason’s maternity photoshoot?

Well Katie had her newborn twins on June 12th, the same birthday as Z’s b’day – exciting! She had a healthy delivery without a C-section, something that is not heard of much these days with twins, and her twins were born beautifully and healthy – you can read her birth story here.

I was excited to photograph Noah & Molly. Noah is 20 minutes older than Molly. Katie said Molly is usually more mellow than Noah, but on the day of our photoshoot, she was a little fussier than Noah, and Noah slept a good part of the photoshoot. Babies will be babies so we worked with what they presented to us – they were dreamy models!

Katie handled her twins beautifully – it’s been nice witnessing her journey from pregnancy and beyond.

Here are a few of my favorites:

I love how peaceful they are with each other after having so much womb snuggle time. Side note ~ they’re wearing the hats I made as props~ so happy they fit!

nonposey natural is nice too!

Katie had these fun hats – Thing 1 and Thing 2. Noah is older so got to be Thing 1 !

So Noah aka Thing 1 was pretty blissful!

Ironically, Molly aka Thing 2 wasn’t! I love her crying face though. I thought it was pretty cool how each twin could tune the other out when crying.

 love the glowing new mother!

Molly’s close up!

Noah’s close up.

Love Noah’s hair and coloring!

So as we were winding down, Molly went on top of Noah. She didn’t want to look at the camera (we tried, but she cried!). She was perfectly content to just rest her head on Noah. We’ll take it!

Look forward to seeing these gorgeous babies grow!

  1. I read Zawislaks story about their struggle with infertility on their blog so to see these precious miracle babies really touches my heart.
