Anya & Krish Photoshoot

“Brother and sister, together as friends, ready to face whatever life sends, Joy and laughter or tears and strife, holding hands tightly as we dance through life.” – Suzie Huitt.

I loved photographing 3 year old Anya!

She was full of giggles and was a pleasure to work with!

Krish I believe is 27 months older than her. The cool thing about the 2 of them was that they interacted beautifully with each other. When one laughed, the other laughed. You could tell Anya looked up to her big brother and that he enjoyed her!

See what I mean?

I love this photo! I love how Opal and Anya are bonding with each other.

“Discovering an ability to love uncritically and totally has been exhilarating. It’s the sort of love that calls upon my whole being, bringing all of my potential to life.” – Ronnie Friedland.

I love how peaceful Anya looks in Sachin’s arms!

So we did the photoshoot at Atlantic Station by the bridge and Milennium Gate. I didn’t realize how popular this location is. There were around 4 other photographers – 2 with models, I think 1 with a couple, and 1 with a family. This was my 1st photoshoot at this location – I liked it! I like how tiny Anya & Krish look compared to the big bridge and world around them.

I love the lighting and Anya’s eyes in this photo! Opal brought along some snacks for her kids – this went a long way, and the kids were excited to get some tasty treats! I think Anya had just been rewarded her snack in this photo!

This is also taken on the bridge – there were no clouds that day, just sunlight so it was a little tricky, but I’m  happy with how the images came out!

I’m also due next month – time is flying! Seeing Krish and Anya interact with each other made me excited as I think Z and her new baby sister will be 2.5 years apart, almost the same as Krish and Anya, so hoping that they also get along well. It is a blessing to have siblings!
