Welcoming Rain

“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.” ~ Rabindranath Tagore.

Today was a rainy day, the type of rainy day that glosses over everything outside. Sheltering rain that  forces you to stay indoors, except it doesn’t really force you, but rather lures you. Photoshoots are cancelled, pajamas are worn all day, and left overs are made new again. A laundry pile diminishes, dishes are loaded, and seeds gloat as rain greets them.

Volume 2, Book 17, Number 841:

Whenever God’s Apostle saw the rain, he used to say, “O God! Let it be a strong fruitful rain.”
