The balloon lured her to the mailbox.
Which alas, led her to the road.
Which led her to walk on the road alone…
Which led her to keep walking without looking back…just forward…
…Well maybe to the side a little…
…and then down to the leaves…
….and then to the golf cart path
…which led to a thorough examination of ‘S’…
…which led to an examination of the whole word
….
…and then finally a bench!
..which she climbed all by herself…
but had to hold on tight to do so…
….and she jumped back on the ground again to examine some rocks..
..which led me to look at our boots
…Brown versus pink…
…but then she climbed back on the bench again…
Struggling a bit in the middle…
…and picked up some leaves to use as accessories….
…which stayed in her hair way better than hair bows…
..see?
…And then it was time to go home.

What a magical walk! Good job being patient and letting your daughter explore. I know it is hard to meander at a toddler’s pace.
Thanks!
Beautiful, Reem!! I really appreciate your posts. And thank you, Z!
Being a New Yorker, I’m looking out for cars! Lucky that you are able to let your toddler explore so freely where you are.
And a gorgeous pictorial, to boot!
