“One child would not interfere very much with our work. One child could always be put to bed in a bureau drawer. It was having two children that really changed life.” ~ Margaret Mead.
Was struck by these 2 images. The same way I can choose what my camera focuses on is the same way I choose which child to focus on. Sometimes Baby A needs my full attention and Z fades in background.
And sometimes big sister Z needs my attention along with a little of baby A.
When I doodle, whether it be swirls or figurines, I am transformed to a world in which my doodles live, and my thoughts become clear. My mind breathes.
I used to teach second grade. Now, I am a Stay-At-Home-Mother to three girls, a seasonal family photographer, and an around-the-clock-children's book author who gets distracted by my camera and buttery sunlight. Thank you for stopping by!
