“Is the spring coming?” he said. “What is it like?”…
“It is the sun shining on the rain and the rain falling on the sunshine…”
―Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden
I love the book above!
I also love the camellia’s Nana’s holding below ~ this was taken last spring. It looks like she’s offering you something yummy to eat. Whenever I’m around my grandmother Nana, I notice nature even more. Here’s a Nana-Naturey-post from last year that always brings back fond memories whenever I see those images.
“What a strange thing!
to be alive
beneath cherry blossoms.” ― Kobayashi Issa, Poems
So I’ll be taking some new images of blossoms soon I’m sure, but in the mean time I’m enjoying the sunshine as much as I can before it goes away. Atlanta weather is very moody and I never know what to expect.
Happy First Day of Spring!
“And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind”
(Quran 22:5).
Happy First Day of Spring!

Love this! Also enjoyed the past post of your Nana and nature. I also blogged about the first day of spring at my photography blog today.
