It’s been a long day. Bits of coziness were in there along with bits of tiredness along with bits of giggles with bits of sneezes. Z has a cold, my husband has a cold, and I have allergies. Coughing today from Z, and baby A who thinks coughing is the funniest think ever and joins in by fake coughing! Lots of sneezes today. Lots of tissues too.
I also have a backlog of photos I need to edit of others. But before you help others with their oxygen masks you need to wear yours first. So in this way, I’ll edit mine first. I couldn’t help wanting to pore over the photos I took on Friday I believe, when it was a day full of sun, no sneezes, just sun, smiles, cries too, but we really enjoyed ourselves on our deck.
Today has a been a day with dusting, dishes, and vacuuming. A day in which the clocks say one hour different, but the minds of children know better. A day in which I can’t wait to boil some Ramen noodles and add my own spices, cumin, red pepper, and golden turmeric, spices that match the leaves outside.
Lately, I’ve noticed how quickly time has flown. Baby A is almost one year old, and Z is three and a half almost. It feels like I just had baby A. It feels like just days ago it was just Z and me enjoying time together on our deck.
Here’s Z years ago!
fast forward 2 years and 15 days approximately…
she loves making smiley faces on her hands… I’m wearing Inglot Blue polish from the summer collection, something I call Blue’s Clues. I liked the blue contrast on my fingers with Z’s lime green hands.
Enjoying autumn to the fullest. Hoping for more warm days where we can spend more time on the deck. And autumn? After living in the Middle East for 13 years and not having any seasons except summer, Autumn is my favorite season!
“With Him are the keys of the unseen, the treasures that none knows but He. He knows whatever there is on the earth and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but with His knowledge: there is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered), but is (inscribed) in a record clear (to those who can read).” – Quran 6:59
