Jackie’s Fall Photosession!

“Autumn…the year’s last, loveliest smile.”
[Indian Summer]”
― William Cullen Bryant

Here are some photos of Jackie’s & Sam’s fall photosession! The weather was beautiful and I really enjoyed spending time with this little family. We managed to get a few photos by the lake and fence, and then right as we were wrapping up, we spotted a red wall with a flowery vine that worked as a gorgeous backdrop especially since the girls had pretty flower hairbands!  I love the curiosity of children in nature and how they gleefully gaze at ducks on the lake (this was Trinity – the toddler – in this session!). Trinity had her eyes fixed on the lake and ducks so I climbed over a fence so I could capture her expressions and natural admiration of the world around her!

Baby Milan was sweet and smiley throughout and Jackie’s mother came to assist with making the little ones smile and managed to persuade her to get a few photos of herself as well!

Here Trinity was crying about something and her father Sam was consoling her!

About Doodling Through Life

I doodle. All the time. Doodling helps me make sense of the world around me. When I doodle, whether it be swirls or figurines, I am transformed to a world in which my doodles live, and my thoughts become clear. My mind breathes. Through my art medium of pencils, paint, potting soil, and pixels, I thrive. I am a teacher and have taught 2nd grade in Fulton County Schools in Atlanta, Georgia for 4 years. I am currently a Stay-At-Home-Mommy to a ___ daughter (she was born in June 2010—you can do the math !) and a ___ preschooler (she was born November 2012) who is exploring my creative outlet via the aforementioned 4 P’s! So far, I’m an author whose book Lailah’s Lunchbox was published in 2015 via Tilbury House Publishing. I have 2 new picture books projected for 2019: Amira's Picture Day (Holiday House, 2019) and Let Me Show You The Way (Eerdmans, 2019)! I’m an Atlanta based children-family-lifestyle photographer on weekends. Thank you for stopping by!

  1. Thank you so much, Reem!!! You were so willing to work with our schedule to plan the photo shoot date. Then you patiently listened to our suggestions and ideas and worked with my distracted toddler. I love these images!!!
