“In all our quest of greatness, like wanton boys, whose pastime is their care, we follow after bubbles, blown in the air.” John Webster
Z was fretful and whiney.
I was on the phone.
Not a good combo.
So I squitred some soap and water in a paper cup, added a straw, and blew some bubbles around the house. (My father’s creative solution for us when we ran out of the good bubbles!) Z got quiet, played with bubbles, and I took these photos while on the phone too. So this photoshoot lasted maybe 10 minutes? Yay for speaker phone!
Wiping up the soapy bubbles also indirectly cleaned the floor.
This red vintagey dress is from Nana from Behbud, a place in Karachi, Pakistan that sells the most adorable baby clothes and empowers women in the process – the dresses are tailored for itty bitty skinny mini Pakistani kids which means Z got a nice ribbon, buttons, embroidered collar, and more!
(She also got a new haircut, which means saying goodbye to rubberbands, and hello to clips!)
A few of the photos are duplicates, but newer ones do start at the end, laptop died mid uploading!
And Z even helped to cleanup the bubbles… Lovely idea for inside boredom.
